Chronology
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private detective and becomes a mole in a secret investigation at a nursing home, based on the Chilean documentary El Agente Topo. I’m 67 years old and it was so great to see so many actors from our generation and their great comedic styles.
These actors only get better with age and are perfect for this cute comedy series!
The script gets a little lost trying to solve the mystery and gets deeper with the characters’ stories. That’s okay because you have a pretty good idea of who the culprit is halfway through.
It’s not really a secret
You don’t care that it’s not really a secret because you’re just having fun watching these golden old men work and show off their skills. Pay attention to how brave it is to be a senior citizen and at the same time remain active and feel noticed in our youth-oriented society.
